Joe’s Story

On October 14, 2025 Joseph A. Dote, son of IAET Board Member Joe Dote, was seriously injured in a near- fatal vehicle accident. This accident resulted in the loss of his left leg above the knee as well as other severe injuries to his left arm, body , head, and internal injuries. Joseph has been through several surgeries and will probably have more as he heals.

Joseph is presently learning to walk again on his prosthetic leg so he can return to work. He has been out of work and a paycheck since Oct 14. Joseph has a wife and two beautiful children ages one and five and one half. His medical bills continue to mount and we are planning a benefit for him to help him through this difficult time. Your help is urgently needed and appreciated.
