Anthony Greco – Law Enforcement
Anthony Robert Greco, born and raised in Melrose Park, Illinois, is a proud member of the Illinois Army National Guard and is currently a patrol officer for the Village of Brookfield.
Anthony graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in both History and Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law, receiving high honors in both fields. While attending the University of Wisconsin- Platteville, Anthony knew he wanted to have a career of service to his nation and community. At twenty-one years old, Anthony began serving in the Illinois Army National Guard, starting his career as a Paralegal Specialist, and is now a member of the Military Intelligence community. During this time, Anthony has completed various courses, such as the Air Assault Course and Operation Panther Strike Training Exercise, which have set him above his peers and made him a valued member of the Illinois Army National Guard and the United States Army. Due to the part-time status of the Illinois Army National Guard requirements, Anthony was able to pursue a career in local law enforcement, following in his father’s footsteps, Anthony G. Greco, the Chief of Police for the Village of Melrose Park. Anthony has recently been hired at the Village of Brookfield, and he is looking forward to continuing both of his chosen career paths. Ultimately, Anthony’s goal is to further his career with the Illinois National Guard, becoming a Warrant Officer within the Military Intelligence community and continuing to grow his skills in investigative tactics within the law enforcement profession.
Along with Anthony’s service-based careers, Anthony continues his service through many organizations, as he is a proud member of the Italian American Executives in Transportation, with approximately three years of membership, membership with the Italian American Police Association, and approximately six years of membership with the Knights of Columbus, currently with Lodge #650.
